Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 egg
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup banana, mashed
1-1/2 cups flour
1-3/4 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:
1. In a bowl, with an electric mixer on medium speed, cream together sugar and shortening. Add egg, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; mix well.
2. Beat in mashed bananas. Add flour and quick cooking oats. Fold in chopped nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.
